I first joined Pam’s Pilates class in late 2014. At that time she was recently qualified and I was an absolute novice so I feel privileged to have been one of her long term members. The benefits of pilates for me are huge. I had not exercised much in the past, and my muscles and posture were weak. Over the years, not only have I grown stronger, but my body shape has changed. I feel Pam is responsible for this. Her classes are fun, challenging and often tough, but she puts each person in a class to suit their level. She is always aware of any injuries and tailors the class to accommodate the people she is teaching. Pam has a great personality, she remembers everyone’s name and calls us out by name during the class to correct us. Her classes are small and we get individual attention which is great. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I have been coming to Pam’s Pilates classes for 10 years. I also do a weekly one to one with her on the reformer.
It’s the first time I have ever stuck to any type of exercise class. Pam always makes sure we have a huge range of exercises as well as always ensuring we are doing them correctly and safely. Classes are fun and time flies!
Pam is kind, gentle and encouraging. She takes into account everyone’s needs and factors that into each routine.
Pam is very knowledgeable and keeps her own training up to date with all the new and ever changing current theories and routines.

I have been going to Pam's classes for a number of years now. I first joined her group as I had issues with my sacroiliac joint following an injury many years before. I was recommended Pilates by my orthopaedic consultant. Pam is an excellent teacher with an understanding of individual physical issues and a easy to understand method of explaining each exercise, position and benefit. I can honestly say I am stronger in my 50's than I have been in a long long time. Pam is thorough in her care of her clients and will tailor exercises to suit. Her classes are challenging but the rewards are great.

I have attended Pam's classes for over three years. She was professional and caring from the start but now these qualities have reached an enhanced level, and I am so convinced of the huge benefit of her teaching that I go to her classes twice a week. The number of other pilates-and-Pam devotees is controlled and is never allowed to exceed the point where she cannot keep a careful eye on our every movement. She is entirely receptive to the needs of each individual, very knowledgable and obviously highly trained. I am slightly arthritic and in my mid-sixties and yet I move around in my daily life much more easily than I did ten years ago. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Hello, my name is Lynne and I am mid forties. I have been coming to Pamela’s Pilates session for roughly 2 years. I started at once a week but has progressed to twice a week. I have a couple of ailments and was in regular pain but since coming to the classes the pain has got less and my core has got stronger. I feel so much better for them, Pamela is very supportive but amazing at what she does and see’s everything.

I have enjoyed Pilates for many years but it wasn't until I moved to the area and joined Pam Mitchell's Stott's Pilates classes that I realised what I was missing. Pam is a dedicated professional who ensures that everyone in the class is able to take part, adapting exercises where necessary to cater for injuries or long-term conditions. And no two week's are the same with Pam tailor-making routines to work on different parts of the body so there is no opportunity for boredom. My own fitness has taken a knock in recent years and as I head for 70 I know that Pam's Pilates classes will keep me as mobile as possible.
